Emptiness

This is another beautiful saying by Lao Zi. It goes like this. An empty vessel has more use than a filled one. For example, if a bottle is filled, you can't use the space to fill anymore things as compared when it is empty. It is analogous to a person who is full of himself, for example he thinks that he knows everything may not learn anymore as he will refused to acknowledge that he does not know this or that or thinks that the new method that he been taught will work as compared to what he knows.

So one has to empty his or her mind before ready to accept new things. An Open mind is a beautiful mind.
