The Car Parking Story

Noticed a BMW 5 series was parking with the head protruding quite noticeably and was rather close to right line of the space that I wanted to park. Anyway, I reversed park to the left of it and while doing so I noticed that the driver who already got out was not happy and talking something outside with what I did. I wind down my window and told him that he should have park properly. He replied that I should have the courteousy to let him get out first and added that it was the other car, on his right that park too close to his right line that cause him to park that way. Seeing that it was indeed, I just say ok.

Thinking back, he should still respect his line and not shook his responsibility claiming that since the other car park irresponsibility, he has the right to do so as well. It will be a very poor example to show to his son and may indicate the latter that if someone else is at fault, it is ok to do the same and assume to be not at fault and on the other hand magnifying the fault of the one who first cause it. It is just like a recent incident of about a man who was not happy that his Mercedes got summoned when he park illegally while there re many other cars did like the same and not gotten anything. Laws are to be abided and not break. If someone breaks the law, you can't just break the same law and blame it on someone who cause you to do the same. The best way to solve this is still on the individual. But if all fail, such individual, being an adult may need to be guided and treated like a child.
